Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Kristi brings more than 30 years of business experience to GCR Security Experts. As founder and chief executive officer, she has led the company for more than two decades. She manages the business side of client engagements, including proposals, agreements, billing, and business communication.

Her corporate career includes serving as Corporate Director, Global Human Resource Services at Remy International and Corporate Compensation Manager at Roche. Her work spanned manufacturing operations, workforce management, global human resources, compensation, and labor negotiations.

Since co-founding GCR in 2004, Kristi has applied that experience to running a professional, woman-owned security and investigations company. GCR has served Fortune 500 companies and local businesses of every size, financial institutions, professional sports organizations, conventions, hospitals and universities, attorneys and insurers, executives, and private families.

Kristi earned her MBA and degrees in entrepreneurship and corporate finance from Ball State University. She is Professor of Practice of Entrepreneurship and Director of the Real Business Experience program at Butler University. She also founded Launch HOPE, a nonprofit entrepreneurship initiative that transitioned into an experiential course at Butler in 2025.

Establish the scope, personnel requirements, management responsibilities, and communication needs before work begins. GCR combines business management with security leadership to support your engagement.

Security planning and operational coordination. Nick leads the security work, including assignment requirements, planning, and operational coordination. We add security managers when an assignment calls for additional oversight.

Business management and client communication. Kristi is your point of contact for proposals, agreements, billing, and business communication. She brings more than 30 years of business experience to managing the relationship with you or your organization.

Coordination with your organization. Discuss communication and reporting needs with Nick, including coordination with your own security team or the organization you represent. Define those responsibilities as part of the assignment scope.
